Back-to-Back Success: Another Title-Winning Year for Barin Sports

When we looked back on 2024, one question kept coming to mind: “What now? Can we possibly surpass this success in 2025?”

We are used to dreaming boldly, but also to staying realistic. Achieving all of that once again seemed almost like a mirage.

And yet, a year later, as we once again look back at what we have accomplished, we feel a bit like Pep Guardiola at the height of his success – as if we’ve won the title once again. And we simply cannot hide the joy and pride we feel for everything our entire team has achieved.

Among the highlights of the year are once again doubling the number of our clients, welcoming our first clients in Portugal and Romania, extending and expanding agreements with existing partners such as the Bulgarian Football Union, the Football Federation of North Macedonia, and Levski, as well as building new strategic partnerships, including one with the Portuguese telecommunications giant NOS.

The fact that a company like NOS – with its strong traditions in both technology and sports – believes in our product means that we are not only moving in the right direction, but that we are among the brands helping to define that direction.

Rather than saying too much ourselves, the best summary of our year comes from none other than Ballon d’Or winner and Barin Sports shareholder – Michael Owen.

And here is a short recap of what we achieved in 2025:

• Doubled for 2nd year in a row the number of our clients

• Extended our contract with PFC Levski Sofia through 2028

• Signed a 4-year partnership agreement with the North Macedonia Football Federation to work with all their national teams

• Opened the Romanian market

• Signed a strategic partnership with NOS and entered the Portuguese market

• Extended our contract with the Bulgarian Football Union for another 2 years to work with all national teams

• Together with the Bulgarian Football Union launched a first-of-its-kind in Bulgaria National testing battery – a 4-year program with Elite U15 for the development of the next generation of Bulgarian football players

• Bulgarian Tennis Federation – U14 and U16 national teams testing with our Barin 360 analytics service

• Became the most used system in the Hungarian second division and started working with women’s football clubs in the country

• Launched our Barin Sports 360 service for individual athletes in tennis, golf, short track, athletics, high jump, football, long jump, fencing, taekwondo

• We were a proud technological partner for the Red Bull Sofia Run, providing real-time tracking and analysis for over 40,000 spectators on site and countless others on TV

• Signed a strategic partnership with GrapheneAll for brand, R&D, and market entry into Asia

• Began collaboration with IBM on automation and productivity scale-up; powering AI-driven insights; compliance, security & resilience; and access to new potential clients

• Completed a project with AWS & PCG for report automation using the full suite of AWS tools (OCR engine, data cleaning, data storage, and visualization)
